A seven-day expedition through 800 million years of Earth history — the Adelaide Rift, Cryogenian glaciations, the Mt Painter and Paralana hydrothermal systems, and precursors to the Ediacaran biotic expansion. Led by Steve Hore of the Geological Survey of SA, alongside planetary geologists, astrobiologists, and aerospace engineers. Dark skies over the August new moon included.
