Planetary Geology Field Week 2026 at Arkaroola
A seven-day expedition through 800 million years of Earth history — the Adelaide Rift, Cryogenian glaciations, the Mt Painter and Paralana hydrothermal systems, and precursors to the Ediacaran biotic expansion. Led by Steve Hore of the Geological Survey of SA, alongside planetary geologists, astrobiologists, and aerospace engineers. Dark skies over the August new moon included.
25th Australian Space Research Conference (ASRC 2026)
The primary annual meeting for Australian space research — three days across space science, engineering, astrobiology, resource utilisation, policy, and workforce development. Co-organised by the National Space Society of Australia and MSA, with a heritage of 18 successful meetings to date.
